Biography
A native of Madison, Judge Vergeront earned her B.A. from UW-Madison in 1968 and her J.D. from UW-Madison in 1975.
Legal Career
After law school, Judge Vergeront was a clerk for Federal Judge James E. Doyle (1975-76), and was then the Staff Attorney/Managing Attorney for Legal Action of Wisconsin (1976-84). She served in private practice from 1984-1994, and has been an Appellate Judge, District IV Court of Appeals from 1994-present.[1]
