The following is a list of judicial activist organizations in Kansas, with a brief description of those entities.
Johnson Countians for Justice
This organization describes itself as a "non-profit, non-partisan group of interested citizens of Johnson County. We believe that fair and impartial courts, free of special interest politics, are the most important ingredient in protecting our rights as citizens of a free and democratic country. The purpose of the Johnson Countians for Justice is to make the citizens of the 10th Judicial District aware of the quality of justice we enjoy and the importance of courts based on the merit-selection in upholding the Constitution and protecting our individual rights."[1]
The organization advocates on behalf of the current system of selecting district court judges by merit selection and encourages voters in Johnson County to vote "No" to oppose the partisan election of judges.
