Judicial selection in Pennsylvania
From Judgepedia
All Pennsylvania judges (whether a part of the Supreme Court, Superior Court, Commonwealth Court or Court of Common Pleas) are elected via partisan election.
If elected, a judge for any of the above mentioned courts serves an initial term of ten years. After the initial term, each judge stands for re-election to another ten year term.[1]
